“The Dream of a Ridiculous Man» is a fantastic story by Dostoyevsky. However, in that fantasy, homo sapiens does not fight aliens, but
his own demons and passions. The plot by Fyodor Mihailovich is a drama of the human spirit, desperate search for answers to eternal
questions, balancing between sin and righteousness, a mutiny against meaninglessness and meanness of our civilization.
That is an apocalypse of a specially obsessed soul.“
Sergei Krainev

A lonely man, who was considered a weirdo and funny from his earliest childhood. He decides to kill himself because of the idea
that has obsessed him. However, his consciousness because of a dishonourable deed, gives him no peace. Hesitating, with a pistol in
front of him, he falls asleep. In his dream, he sees the world, which totally resembles the earth from the outside, but in which everything
is ideal: there is no malice, envy, jealousy, theft. The earth was ideal in every respect. Gradually, the world before his eyes turns into the
fallen world, the same as the one on Earth, and the reason for the fall is the very hero of the story. The hero wakes up as a completely different man, who understands it is better to proliferate love and the good in the imperfect world, than vice versa …
