The performance is played on the basis of the novel of Chingiz Aitmatov.
At the heart of the play is the story of Avdiy Kalistratov, a former seminarian who went to the Moyinkumskiy steppes with messengers for anasha. Expelled from the bosom of the Church for thinking about the “modern God”, the hero is faced with the cruel reality of worldly life, where God is replaced by money.

In an attempt to save the “lost souls” Avdiy becomes a bloody victim of the cynical human system.
